Welcome to our Relax, Reset & Recharge Experience – The first in our series of wellness sessions designed to enhance your overall health and well-being, both mentally and physically. Each session is mixed-gender, creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. With a maximum of 6 guests per session, you’ll enjoy an unsupervised, personalised experience with plenty of space to relax and unwind. Open to accommodation guests and day visitors aged 16 and over, the sessions are suited for all abilities and experience levels. You’ll enjoy an hour of peaceful relaxation, connecting with nature through sauna and hot tub bathing, along with cold plunge contrast therapy.
Sessions are available at 8–9 am, 9–10 am, and 10–11 am every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
For those interested in the science behind it – studies have long shown that regular sauna use provides numerous health benefits, and recent findings have shed even more light on its impact. The Laukkanen study revealed that using a sauna for just 20 minutes twice a week can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease by more than 20%, and by up to 65% if used 4 to 7 times a week. Additionally, those who use a sauna 4 to 7 times a week are over 60% less likely to develop dementia. Other benefits include boosted metabolism, improved detoxification, muscle recovery, pain relief, stress reduction, enhanced mental well-being, a stronger immune system, and even a longer lifespan—all from regular sauna bathing.
If that's not enough, pairing sauna bathing with a cold plunge (contrast therapy, for those brave enough) for even 30 seconds can further enhance these health benefits. Cold plunges can also improve circulation, mood, mental clarity, focus, sleep quality, skin health, and toning.
